AMA Computer University is the first and largest ICT University in Asia.  The AMA Computer College came into existence in June 1981. The University provides a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Undergraduate programs of study include Computer Studies, Engineering, Business Administration and Public Administration.

With few students in the first year of operation, AMACC student enrollment rose from 600 in 1983 to 2000 in 198 City.

This for-profit educational institution specializes in electronic, information, and communication technologies. It follows a trimestral calendar where a typical four year collegiate education program under a semestral calendar is completed in only 3 years and 3 months.

It was the first school in the Philippines to fully integrate the Internet into its curriculum. Internet services are provided in all campuses. All major AMA colleges are interconnected through a local area network that has converted them into one nationwide school system.
