Dasmarinas De La Salle Health Sciences Institute established in 1987 is committed to health care education and research. The Institution is located in Dasmariñas City in Cavite province. In 2007 the institution officially became the De La Salle Health Sciences Institute and a member of De La Salle Philippines.

Currently the Institute is composed of 3 major units that are all part of the Institutional Colleges. It has 3 undergraduate colleges and 1 professional school including De La Salle University Medical Center and Angelo King Medical Research Center.  
The Institute offers academic programs through its four colleges - Medicine, Physical Therapy, Medical Radiation Technology, and Nursing and School of Midwifery. Continuing to pursue academic excellence the Institute prides itself for its consistent outstanding performance by graduates in licensure examinations.

The De La Salle University Medical Center gained the distinction of being the first hospital in the Philippines to be awarded the ISO 9001 Certification as also a Certification by the TUV–Rheinland and Berlin of Brandenburg Group of Companies.
