.: University of Mindanao's Multifarious Curriculum
University of Mindanao in Davao City was established in 1946. It is one of the oldest universities in Southern Philippines. This non-sectarian institution offers a wide variety of curriculums having ten branches spread over thirteen campuses in Southern Mindanao.
As the largest private university in Mindanao it has the most number of PACUCOA accredited programs in Philippines. It was the first school to offer tertiary education in the region specifically to provide learning opportunities to the local populace.
The University continues to improve its facilities and is committed to construct state of the arts facilities including air-conditioned libraries, audio-visual rooms, auditorium, and science laboratories. Its four campuses include the main campus in Bolton and Bonifacio Streets, Matina Ma-a Campus and the Technical School Campus in Sta. Ana Avenue and Toril.
With more than 10 colleges and schools located in these campuses many courses like Business Administration, Accountancy, Criminology and Law, Arts and Sciences, Nursing, Engineering, Architecture, Education and Forestry and other Technical and Vocational Courses are taught. Each college is supervised by Dean and Program Heads.
