The University of the Philippines Diliman is the flagship campus, seat of administration and largest constituent university among the University of the Philippines System. Located in Diliman, Quezon City it offers courses in Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, Law, Business and Economics, Natural Sciences, Engineering, Music, Archaeology and Fine Arts among others.

The University offers the largest number of graduate and undergraduate courses among all the universities in the Philippines. Governed by the U.P. Board of Regents, the highest policy-making body of the University, Diliman campus is headed by a Chancellor and five Vice-Chancellors for Academic Affairs, Administration, Research and Development, Student Affairs and Community Affairs.

The Diliman campus holds the distinction of having the most Centers of Excellence and Centers of Development among the country's educational institutions. The University is composed of colleges that are officially called, degree-granting units. Among others these include College of Architecture, College of Arts and Letters, College of Business Administration, School of Economics, College of Education and more.

The Archaeological Studies Program offers graduate degree programs leading to archeological studies designed to coordinate instructional, research and extension activities pertaining to the systematic discovery, reclamation, analysis, presentation and preservation of the material remains of past cultures.
