The University of the Philippines Baguio (U.P. Baguio) is a first rate institution of higher learning and research in the Philippines. The research arm of UP Baguio is the Cordillera Studies Center (CSC), internationally known for its excellent record in ethnic and interdisciplinary research programs.

Faculty workgroups undertake research on subjects that include local literature, natural products, biodiversity, environmental management, urban studies, local governance and development and ethnic studies.
