The University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) is located in Cebu City in Philippines. Founded in 1927, it started out in a small way but now has two campuses. Lahug Campus is the main campus and the other is the Mabini Campus. Founded by like-minded visionaries, this non-sectarian institution offers high standards of education with the aim of making higher education accessible to all. In 19n.

In 1949 the University began operating a Post-Graduate Course in Education, specifically Master of Arts in Education thereby paving the way for attaining a university status.  Graduate courses begun by the University initially included Master of Arts in Education, English, Teaching Sociology and Teaching English.

USPF has its core values founded on knowledge, integrity and industry. Envisioning provision of accessible quality education and nurturing responsible leadership it focuses on proper instruction, research and community service.

Offering relevant programs the university is responsive to the changing needs of local and global communities and keeps track of measures to enhance instruction through intensive faculty development and linkages.
